Back in 1985 I was working as a nursing assistant. The latex gloves made my hands break out , it was allergic dermatitis. Similar to eczema, my skin bubbled up and layers of skin would peel off, leaving my hands so sensitive. Washing my hair was excruciating, the shampoo burned like acid. I tried all the recommended creams, but nothing made my skin get better or feel protected. Then I discovered the combination of beeswax and olive oil, and it worked! I did a little research and found out that centuries ago farmers made their own balm with beeswax and lard. I made it for myself, then for family and friends. I decided to market it, now we have our products in stores throughout Vermont, and in a few other states as well. We are so thankful to be able to make products that help and heal.

Our products are made in small batches, in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Because we live in a state where the weather changes constantly, we know how harsh conditions can affect skin. In fact, whether you work outside or inside, dryness is still a factor. Some people suffer from problem dry skin, eczema, or psoriasis, which can be life long conditions. Fortunately, there is more awareness about the efficacy of natural skin products. We have many customers who made the switch from petroleum to our beeswax balms. We've received so many thanks and testimonials, for that we are grateful.
