BEE BALM’
NOT JUST ANOTHER HAND LOTION. . .
. Lotions contain chemical irritants that can make dry, cracked hands
sting. Bee Balm is made simply from two natural ingredients ; beeswax
and olive oil.
My mother was
born and raised in rural England. She remembers that back on the farm
olive oil was used for medicinal purposes, especially for dry skin.
The olive oil in Bee Balm moisturizes while the beeswax forms a barrier
that protects your skin. I started making Bee Balm back in the late
80’s. I suffered from chronic allergic dermatitis. The skin
between my fingers would form tiny, fluid filled pustules that would
weep, then dry up, making my hands feel like they had no skin left
to protect them. It was painful to do any task, just shampooing my
hair would make my hands hurt terribly. I amassed quite a large collection
of skin care remedies, none of them made my hands feel protected.
Bee Balm did..
I ALSO HAD CRACKED
FINGERTIPS. . . . They never seemed to heal. I used bandages and countless
lotions to no avail. I had even heard of people who glued their cracks
together! Now I use Bee Balm every day for prevention. I haven’t
had a crack in years.
My friend’s
daughter has extremely sensitive skin. Most soaps and lotions irritate
her skin. She is able to use Bee Balm without any problems. My youngest
daughter has dry skin, especially on her knees and lower legs. Bee
Balm stays on and protects, even with constant friction from wearing
pants.
My eldest daughter
and I recently did some research. We took a few lotions that we had
on hand and looked up the MSDS information for each of the chemical
ingredients. We found that an alarming number of standard lotion ingredients
are considered SKIN IRRITANTS. No wonder my hands would sting. It’s
difficult to find skin care products that don’t use chemicals.
It won’t work if you forget to use
it. . . . Carry it with you, bring one to work and leave one at
home. Use it after your hands have been in water, before you go
out in the bitter cold, and before and after gardening. I bring
Bee Balm with me when traveling, skiing, hiking, canoeing, and camping.
I keep one by my kitchen sink, it makes my hands feel good again
after doing dishes. USE BEE BALM WHENEVER YOU NOTICE THAT YOUR SKIN
FEELS UNPROTECTED. IT REALLY WORKS! - Julie Devlin Brochu, Queen
